The Khiladi Protsahan Yojana is a scheme implemented by the Madhya Pradesh Building Department, which operates under the Labor Department. This program offers financial support to registered construction workers or their family members who have achieved excellence in sports. The scheme is administered through the MP Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.

MP Khiladi Protsahan Yojana (MP Athlete Encouragement Scheme) is to provide financial assistance to those athletes in the state who are performing well in sports but are unable to progress due to their financial situation. Under this scheme, athletes from working-class families are awarded cash prizes for winning competitions at various levels. The main goal is to motivate youth towards sports and help them become good athletes.
Benefits and Features of MP Khiladi Protsahan Yojana 2024
- Through this scheme, winning athletes from labor families will be honored with incentive amounts.
- Under this scheme, the winning laborer will be given an incentive amount of 10,000 rupees.
- The benefits of this scheme will only be available to registered construction workers and their family members.
- Athletes selected at the district level competitions will be given an incentive amount of 10,000 rupees in category A and 5,000 rupees in category B.
- Athletes selected at the divisional level will be given an incentive amount of 25,000 rupees in category A and 15,000 rupees in category B.
- In addition, athletes selected at the state level will be given an incentive amount of 50,000 rupees in category A and 30,000 rupees in category B.
- By participating in Madhya Pradesh sports competitions, youth from the labor class will also be able to showcase their talent.

Eligibility Criteria
- To benefit from this scheme, the applicant must be a native resident of Madhya Pradesh state.
- Only construction workers and their family members will be eligible for this scheme.
- The applicant’s bank account must be linked to their Aadhar card.
- The applicant must be registered with the Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.

- Application form in the prescribed format along with a copy of the registration card,
- Certificate given by the District Superintendent of Police and District Sports Officer through the sports organization.
- Construction workers and their family members holding valid identity cards.
- The Aadhaar Card of the applicant.
- Voter ID Card.

Application Process
For Category-A awards
- Applications must be submitted in the prescribed format, along with a certificate issued by the District Superintendent of Police or the District Sports Officer through a recognized sports organization, to the designated officer as follows:
- For urban areas: Commissioner/Chief Municipal Officer, Urban Local Body
For Category-B awards
- The incentive amount for the winner of the sports competition organized by the division under Category-B will be provided by the organizing Labor Department officer.

- Chief Executive Offcer, Janpad Panchayat and Commissioner/Chief Municipal Officer, Urban Local Body
- To apply for this scheme, you first need to go to your panchayat or the Chief Municipal Officer of your urban local body.
- There, you will need to obtain the application form for the ‘Khiladi Protsahan Yojana’ (Athlete Encouragement Scheme) to participate in sports competitions.
- After getting the application form, you will need to fill in all the required information asked for in the form.
- Then, you will need to attach all the necessary documents to that form.
- Finally, you need to submit the completed application form back to the same place from where you obtained it.
