You have to keep in mind that when you go to vote, it is mandatory to have your name in the voter list along with your voter card.

Process to Check your Name in the Voter List :

Step 1 : First of all, you have to open the official website of Election Commission of India, voters.eci.gov.in in the web browser on your phone, laptop or tablet.

To see your name in the voter list, click on the “Search in Electoral Roll” option visible in the “Services” Section.

Step 2 : After this, a new page will open in front of you where you will be given three ways to see your name in the voter list. We will explain each method in detail below, so that you can choose one of them and see your name in the voter list.

First Method : Search by Details

If you choose this “Search by Details” method to see the name in the voter list, then you will have to fill some of your personal information. Enter your personal details like your name, surname, relative name, age, date of birth and gender in the “Personal Information” section. Then, select your district in the location details section and fill the given captcha code correctly and click on “Search” button.

Second Method : Search by EPIC Number

If you have your Voter ID card or its copy then you can use the “Search by EPIC” method. First of all, you have to select your preferred language, then enter your EPIC number from your voter card, then select your state and fill the captcha code correctly before clicking on the “Search” option.

Third Method : Search by Mobile Number

If you are unable to check your name using the first two methods, you can check your name in the voter list using your mobile number. However, it is important to remember the mobile number you used while applying for your Voter ID Card. Select your state and language, then enter your mobile number. Make sure it is the same number that you used during Voter ID registration. Enter the captcha code correctly before clicking on the search option

Step 3 : After choosing any of the above methods and clicking on the search option, you will see your complete voter ID details. For example, if you use the search method by mobile number, you will see the names and personal details associated with all the voter ID cards registered with your mobile number. You can click on View Details option to view detailed information.

Step 4 : You can see complete detailed information by clicking on the View details option. View Details After clicking on “View Details”, you can check all the details related to your Voter ID Card, such as your EPIC number, name, age, gender, relative name, voting status, etc. And by clicking on the option of Print Voter Information shown below, you can also download the slip and keep it with you. You can use this slip while casting your vote, it will be completely valid.

How to Check Voter List of your Village/District ?

Step 1 : First of all, open the official website of Election Commission “Election Commission” https://voters.eci.gov.in/download-eroll?StateCode=S26 in your web browser.

Step 2 : Now on the new page that opens, you will have to enter the name of your state, district and assembly constituency. After this, you have to choose your preferred language and fill the captcha code correctly and click on the “Search” button shown below.

Step 3 : After this, once you click on the “Search” button, you will see the options to download the voter list according to different polling stations. You can download the complete voter list by clicking on the “Download” option appearing in “Draft roll 2024” or “Final roll 2024”. But before downloading, you must check the polling station.

Step 4 : After this, in the downloaded voter list, complete information will be given about how many voters are registered at the “Part details” or polling station chosen by you and how many women and how many men are registered there.

By using these methods, you can download the online voter list sitting at home and see your name in it.
